Blu Mediterraneo Mandorlo di Sicilia is an oriental floral for women and men, released by Acqua di Parma in 1999 with no perfumer credited; the name is the Sicilian almond tree. Green almond gives the opening a fresh, slightly bitter nuttiness with star anise, orange and bergamot around it, then white peach, ylang-ylang and jasmine make the middle soft and sunny. Bourbon vanilla, tolu balsam, cedar and white musk finish it powdery and warm. Sweet without being heavy. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits daytime from spring through autumn.
