Thank U, Next

Thank U, Next is a floral fruity gourmand for women, composed by Jérôme Epinette for Ariana Grande in 2019. Raspberry and pear open it sweet and juicy, coconut gives the middle a creamy, suncream-like softness against pink rose, and the base is a macaron accord with musk: sugary, almond-edged and unmistakably a pudding. The list is short and each note does one obvious job. Nothing about it is subtle, and nothing about it was meant to be. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daytime.
