Love Don't Be Shy

Love Don't Be Shy is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women, made for By Kilian by Calice Becker in 2007 and built outwards from marshmallow. Neroli, bergamot and pink pepper open it briefly before the sweetness arrives: marshmallow, orange blossom and jasmine over sugar, caramel and vanilla, with civet and labdanum adding a warm animal edge underneath. Rose and iris stop it going flat, but it is very sweet, close to confectionery, and unapologetic about it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Autumn, winter and spring, day or night.
