Lira is an oriental floral for women, created by Chris Maurice for Casamorati 1888 and released in 2011. It is a gourmand in floral clothing: cinnamon and vanilla lead, caramel thickens the base, and jasmine and rose sit in the middle to keep it from being purely dessert. Blood orange, bergamot and a touch of lavender give the opening a clean lift before the sweetness arrives. Lasting power and projection are both moderate, and the warm, powdery cast of it suits autumn and winter, by day or in the evening.
