L'Eau de Chloe is a chypre floral for women, composed by Michel Almairac for Chloé in 2012 as a lighter reading of the house's Eau de Parfum from 2008. Citron, grapefruit and bergamot open it like cold lemonade, with aldehydes adding lift, and the heart is rose treated two ways, petals and distilled rose water, which gives it a dewy quality rather than a jammy one. Patchouli, oakmoss and cedar keep the base earthy. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daylight.
