J'ose

J'ose is an aromatic spicy fragrance for women from Eisenberg. No perfumer is credited and no launch year is recorded. Mint and Amalfi lemon make the opening cold and sharp, with jasmine softening it, and then it turns dark: lavender and artemisia, bitter and herbal, wrapped around a coffee note that gives the whole thing a roasted bitterness. Vanilla, tonka bean, amber and moss make the base warm and slightly damp over sandalwood and patchouli. The name means I dare. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
