Sunflowers is a floral fruity fragrance for women, composed by David Apel for Elizabeth Arden in 1993. It opens wide and watery, melon and peach with lemon, mandarin and bergamot behind them, so the first impression is closer to fruit juice than to flowers. The heart is a light bouquet, rose and jasmine with osmanthus and orris giving it a little depth, and the base stays soft: amber, musk and sandalwood with oakmoss for a faint green dryness. Cheerful and undemanding. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer days.
