The Ghost In The Shell is an Etat Libre d'Orange fragrance for women and men from 2021, with no perfumer credited and no family assigned. It is built on a milky skin accord, lactonic and warm, with jasmine keeping it floral and biotech materials giving the opening a citrus lift over yuzu. Moss and a smoky, slightly tarry note underneath stop it turning cosy. The house traces the name to a conversation about the philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and to an alliance with the Japanese artist Shirow Masamune. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daytime.
