Side Effect

Side Effect is an oriental fragrance for women and men, made for Initio Parfums Prives in 2016, with no perfumer credited. Rum and tobacco lead it: boozy, dark and sweet, with cinnamon and saffron adding heat and a faintly leathery bite, and sandalwood laying down a dry woody floor. Hedione keeps a little air in the middle of it, but this is a heavy, close and slightly intoxicating scent rather than a fresh one, and it sits on clothes for days. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Autumn and winter evenings.
