L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme is a woody aquatic fragrance for men, made for Issey Miyake by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud in 1994. Yuzu leads it, sharp and clean, with lemon, bergamot and tarragon behind, then a spiced heart of nutmeg, saffron and blue lotus that is unusual for something this fresh. Vetiver, cedar, sandalwood and a thread of tobacco hold the base. Issey Miyake made it as an eau de toilette for any occasion, and that is how it wears. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Spring and summer, daytime.
