Jimmy Choo is a chypre fruity for women, composed by Olivier Polge in 2011 and the shoe house's first fragrance. Pear leads it, crisp and green over mandarin, and orchid fills a heart that is otherwise kept deliberately plain. The interest is in the base, where toffee runs into Indonesian patchouli: sweet and caramelised on one side, earthy and dry on the other, and the tension between them is the whole composition. Short note list, clear idea. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
