Lime Basil & Mandarin is a citrus aromatic fragrance for women and men, made by Jo Malone for her own house in 1999. It does exactly what its name says and very little else: lime with mandarin and bergamot behind it, sharp and peel-bitter, then basil and thyme giving the middle a herbal, kitchen-garden turn with lilac and iris softening the edge. Vetiver and patchouli keep the base dry. Clean and uncomplicated. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daylight.
