Not A Perfume is a floral woody musk for women, made for Juliette Has A Gun by Romano Ricci in 2010. It holds one material, Cetalox, the ambroxan Firmenich developed as a substitute for grey amber, which was too expensive for common use. Normally it sits in a base; here it is everything, and it smells ambery, dry and skin-like, warm without being sweet. The house calls it a provocative declaration that does not follow the rules of modern perfumery. It lasts a moderate while and stays close to the skin. Spring through autumn, daytime.
