Kenzo Amour is an oriental vanilla for women, composed by Daphné Bugey and Olivier Cresp in 2006 around an idea of Asia. White tea and rice open it, milky and faintly savoury rather than sweet, and the heart is frangipani, cherry blossom and heliotrope, with an almond quality to the frangipani that Bugey had met in Indonesia. The base is vanilla and musk over incense and thanaka wood, a Burmese wood with something of sandalwood and amber about it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter days.
