Blanche Bête is a floral woody musk for women and men, composed by Louise Turner for Les Liquides Imaginaires in 2021. It opens on a milk note with ambrette beside it, soft and lactic rather than sweet, and that creaminess stays for the whole wear. Tuberose and jasmine give the middle its white floral weight, and a thread of incense keeps it from turning cosy. Vanilla, tonka bean, musk and a touch of cacao finish it powdery and warm. Quiet but persistent. It lasts a long time and projects moderately, and it suits spring, autumn and winter, day or night.
