Ganymede is a woody spicy fragrance for women and men, composed by Quentin Bisch for Marc-Antoine Barrois and released in 2019. Saffron and Italian mandarin open it bright and faintly medicinal, and what follows is mostly texture: a dry mineral note, suede and soft leather, akigalawood and patchouli, with osmanthus and immortelle adding an apricot warmth. The name belongs to the moon of Jupiter that Galileo discovered in 1610, a body covered by a vast saltwater ocean. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it is unfussy about season or hour.
