Crystal Saffron

Crystal Saffron is an oriental spicy fragrance for women and men, composed by Aurélien Guichard for Matiere Premiere in 2022 around saffron oil from the Kozani region of Greece. Three materials carry it: musk gives it a bright, almost metallic clarity, saffron sits at the centre, leathery and dry with a faint sourness, and ambroxan with Somali incense makes it hum. There is no sweetness to speak of, and very little softness either. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits winter and autumn, day or night.
