Laguna is a fruity floral for women, composed by Mark Buxton for Salvador Dali in 1991 around the idea of a warm southern shoreline. The opening is a pile of fruit, pineapple, peach, plum and raspberry over Moroccan lemon and grapefruit, with galbanum leaf adding a green bitterness that stops it cloying. Iris, jasmine and lily-of-the-valley soften the middle against Brazilian rosewood. The base turns creamy and tropical: coconut, vanilla and Madagascar sandalwood with tonka bean, amber and patchouli. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daytime.
