Cheirosa '71 is an oriental vanilla for women, composed by Jérôme Epinette for Sol de Janeiro in 2020. Cheirosa is Brazilian for smelling irresistible, and the fragrance is built accordingly: caramelised vanilla and white chocolate with toasted macadamia giving it a roasted, nutty quality rather than a syrupy one. Coconut blossom rounds it out, and a thread of sea salt runs underneath, which stops the sweetness closing in. Closer to a dessert than to a perfume, and unapologetic about it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter daytime.
