California Réverie is a floral for women, made by Antoine Maisondieu for Van Cleef & Arpels in 2014. Neroli and mandarin open it bright and slightly bitter, then jasmine sambac and frangipani take over with the creamy, sun-warmed quality of tropical flowers rather than the sharpness of a white bouquet. Beeswax and vanilla close it, honeyed and soft, which gives the flowers something to rest on. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it is a spring and summer daytime scent.
