LouLou is an oriental floral for women, composed by Jean Guichard for Cacharel in 1987. Plum, anise and violet open it, odd and faintly medicinal, before it turns into the tiare flower it is built around, the Tahitian symbol of welcome, with ylang-ylang, orange blossom and heliotrope heavy behind it. Orris root and vanilla make the drydown powdery, over benzoin, incense and sandalwood. It divides people, and indifference is not a reaction it tends to get. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it belongs to autumn and winter evenings.
