Wish

Wish is an oriental vanilla for women, composed by Nathalie Lorson for Chopard in 1997. The opening is crowded and fruity, coconut, strawberry, pear and yuzu among others, and the heart turns creamy rather than floral, honey and milk over orchid, heliotrope and violet. The base is where it settles and stays: caramel, toffee, vanilla and tonka bean, with incense and patchouli stopping it short of pure sugar. A dessert of a perfume. It lasts a moderate while but projects strongly, and it suits winter, day or night.
