Aventus is a chypre fruity fragrance for men, made for Creed in 2010 by Erwin Creed and Jean-Christophe Hérault. Pineapple and blackcurrant carry it, juicy and bright over apple and bergamot, and underneath sits a smoky, leathery birch that gives the fruit its edge, with oakmoss and ambroxan drying the whole thing out. Creed built it around the life of Emperor Napoleon, and on the strength and success the house reads into it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Spring through autumn, in daylight.
