Millésime Impérial is a woody floral musk for women and men, created for Creed in 1995 by Olivier Creed and Pierre Bourdon, and built around the citrus groves and coastline of Sicily. Sea salt opens it against vague sweet fruit, an odd melon-like start, and then the citrus arrives properly: Sicilian lemon, bergamot and mandarin, with iris adding a cool powdery thread. Salt and musk carry it out over soft woods. Sunlit rather than sharp. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daytime.
