Bois Impérial is an aromatic woody fragrance for women and men, made for Essential Parfums by Quentin Bisch in 2020. Akigalawood does most of the work, peppery and dry, reading as bare wood with an oud-like edge, and timur and basil keep the top green and fresh spicy. Vetiver, patchouli and ambroxan give it a clean mineral finish. Smooth, dry and not remotely sweet. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Spring through autumn, in the daytime, and quiet enough for an office.
