The Musc is a woody floral musk for women and men, composed by Calice Becker for Essential Parfums in 2018. Five materials and no pyramid: musk is the body of it, clean and skin-like, with beeswax giving it a warm, faintly honeyed texture and lavender adding a dry herbal lift. Sandalwood keeps it creamy underneath and ginger sharpens the opening. Quiet, close and meant to be worn rather than noticed. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, suiting spring, summer and autumn daytime.
