Armani Code is an oriental spicy fragrance for men, composed by Antoine Lie for Giorgio Armani and launched in 2004. Lemon and bergamot open it clean before star anise takes over, liquorice-sweet and soft rather than sharp, with olive blossom giving an unusual powdery floral turn. Leather, tobacco and tonka bean make the base warm and faintly smoky. In 2006 it took a FiFi Award for Fragrance of the Year in the men's luxe category. Moderate in projection and longevity, it is an evening scent for autumn and winter.
