Gucci Guilty is an oriental floral for women, composed by Aurélien Guichard in 2010. Pink pepper gives it a bright, faintly peppery opening over mandarin and bergamot, then the heart turns soft and fruity, lilac and peach with geranium keeping an edge on them. Patchouli does the work in the drydown, earthy against amber, vanilla and white musk, and that is what stops the whole thing collapsing into a simple fruity floral. Warm and easy rather than complicated. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
