Red Roses is a floral green fragrance for women, created by Lucien Piquet and Patricia Bilodeau for Jo Malone London in 2001. Five ingredients, and it is exactly what it says. Bulgarian rose sits at the centre, fresh and dewy rather than jammy, with violet leaf giving it a crisp green stem. Lemon and mint sharpen the opening, and beeswax underneath adds a soft, faintly honeyed warmth that keeps the rose from smelling like a cut flower. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring days.
