Ombre Nomade

Ombre Nomade is an oriental woody fragrance for women and men, composed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud for Louis Vuitton in 2018. Oud is the centre of it and everything else serves that: saffron gives it a leathery, slightly metallic edge, birch adds tar and smoke, and incense keeps the whole thing dry and resinous. Rose and raspberry sit on top, the fruit sweetening the wood just enough to make it wearable. Amberwood and benzoin thicken the end. Enormous. It lasts all day and fills a room, and it belongs to autumn and winter evenings.
