Explorer

Explorer is a woody aromatic fragrance for men, made for Montblanc by Jordi Fernández, Antoine Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux in 2019. Bergamot from Italy opens it bright, with pink pepper and clary sage, then Haitian vetiver and a soft leather note lead into ambroxan, akigalawood, Indonesian patchouli leaf and cacao pod. The result is dry, woody and musky with a faint cocoa edge, polished rather than rugged despite the name. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Spring through autumn, daytime.
