Absinth

Absinth is a woody aromatic fragrance for women and men, made by Alessandro Gualtieri for Nasomatto in 2008. Three materials are listed and there is no pyramid: wormwood, green notes and vetiver. It smells bitter and herbal from the first minute, the wormwood grassy and faintly medicinal, with vetiver giving it earth and a dry, rooty finish. It is meant to evoke degrees of hysteria, and came out of a stated quest to stimulate irresponsible behaviour. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and autumn days.
