Love in Paris

Love in Paris is a floral fragrance for women, composed by Aurélien Guichard for Nina Ricci in 2004. Peony and rose sit at the centre and everything else serves them: peach, pear and banana give the opening a soft fruitiness, star anise draws a thin spicy line through it, and apricot and jasmine keep the heart velvety. Violet turns it powdery towards the end, over musk and light woods. Sweet and romantic without much complication. It lasts a moderate while but projects strongly, and it suits spring and autumn daylight.
