Ricci Ricci

Ricci Ricci is a chypre floral for women, composed by Aurélien Guichard and Jacques Huclier for Nina Ricci in 2009. Rhubarb opens it tart and green against bergamot, and the heart is a heavy white floral built on tuberose and datura, the moonflower, with a rose tincture softening the edges. Underneath, patchouli and sandalwood give it the earthy, slightly bitter finish that makes it a chypre rather than a bouquet. Loud and green at once. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it works best on autumn and winter evenings.
