Infusion d'Iris

Infusion d'Iris is a floral woody musk for women, composed by Daniela Andrier for Prada in 2007. Its name refers to the old method of making iris extract, in which the root is soaked for months before the scent can be drawn out. Neroli and mandarin open it clean and bright, then iris arrives powdery and cool with galbanum and mastic giving it a green, resinous edge. Incense, benzoin, vetiver and Virginia cedar keep the base dry. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring daylight.
