Luna Rossa Carbon Eau de Toilette is an aromatic fougere for men, composed by Daniela Andrier for Prada in 2017. Bergamot and pepper open it sharp, then the fragrance does something unusual: lavender is treated metallically, set against coal and a soil tincture, so the middle smells of wet stone and struck metal rather than of herbs. Ambroxan and patchouli give the drydown its warmth and its polish. Mineral and engineered rather than natural-smelling, which is the stated intention. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits daytime through spring, summer and autumn.
