Eau du Soir is a chypre floral for women, created in 1990 by Jeannine Mongin with Hubert and Isabelle d'Ornano, and the second fragrance from Sisley. It was a gift from the count to his wife, built around syringa, a white flower that gives up its scent at night, to remind her of her childhood in Spain, and it stayed her private perfume until 1999. Grapefruit opens it, a dense spiced floral heart follows over oakmoss and patchouli, and amber and musk close it. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it works in autumn and winter, day or night.
