Body

Body is a chypre fruity for women, composed by Michel Almairac for Burberry in 2011. Wormwood gives it a bitter, absinthe-like opening that peach and freesia sweeten but never quite cover, and that bitterness is what keeps it interesting. Rose and iris make the heart powdery, with sandalwood behind them, and it ends soft and skin-warm on cashmere wood, musk, amber and vanilla. Closer to face powder and clean cashmere than to fruit. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn daytime.
