Touch for Men is a woody floral musk for men, composed by Jean-Pierre Bethouart for Burberry in 2000. Violet leaf and artemisia open it green and slightly bitter, with mandarin providing the only real sweetness, and then it dries out: white pepper and nutmeg over cedar, ozonic and clean rather than properly spicy. Tonka bean softens a base of vetiver and white musk. Quiet, and built to sit close rather than announce itself. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it works best in spring and autumn daylight.
