London for Men is an oriental spicy from Burberry, made for men and composed by Antoine Maisondieu in 2006. Cinnamon and bergamot open it sharply, lavender gives an aromatic edge, and then it turns soft and dark: leather and mimosa over tobacco leaf, opoponax, guaiac wood and oakmoss. The tobacco is sweet rather than smoky, closer to pipe tobacco in a tin than to a cigarette. It lasts and projects moderately, which makes it an easy autumn and winter scent for day or evening.
