Cool Water is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men, made for Davidoff by Pierre Bourdon in 1988. Mint and lavender open it cold and sharp over a sea water accord built on calone, with rosemary and coriander keeping it herbal rather than sweet. Geranium, jasmine and neroli sit in the middle, and the base is musk, oakmoss, cedar and a little tobacco. Clean, cold and unmistakably blue, and simpler than most of what it sits beside. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Summer, daytime.
