Hot Water is an oriental spicy fragrance for men, released by Davidoff in 2009 with no perfumer credited. Wormwood and basil open it bitter and herbal, then paprika brings the heat the name promises, dry and peppery rather than sweet, with patchouli underneath it. Benzoin and styrax finish it balsamic and faintly smoky, which is where most of its warmth comes from. Four notes of interest and no filler around them. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits winter and autumn, day or night.
