DKNY My NY is a floral chypre for women from Donna Karan, developed by Trudi Loren with IFF and released in 2014 to express the urban spirit of New York. Raspberry and pink pepper give a sweet, spicy start with a green edge of galbanum, then Egyptian jasmine, freesia and orris form the heart. Patchouli, vanilla absolute, musk and ambergris make a warm, smooth base. Rita Ora fronted the campaign, shot in Times Square by Francesco Carrozzini, holding the heart-shaped bottle whose top suggests skyscrapers. It wears for a moderate while, best on spring and autumn days.
