Pure DKNY is a floral for women, composed by Olivier Cresp for Donna Karan in 2010. There is no pyramid: lotus and freesia keep it watery and light, Bulgarian rose and jasmine give it body without weight, and orchid, sandalwood and white amber soften the finish. The house built the launch around Ugandan vanilla bought through a partnership with the charity CARE to support the women growing it, though the record's own note list does not carry vanilla. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer days.
