Musc Ravageur is an oriental spicy fragrance for women and men, composed by Maurice Roucel for Frederic Malle and released in 2000. Despite the name, musk is the floor rather than the whole building: cinnamon and cloves run through the heart, lavender and bergamot keep the opening bright and dry, and vanilla, tonka bean and amber make the base sweet, powdery and frankly skin-like. Guaiac wood and sandalwood add smoke. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, so it is a cold weather scent for the evening.
