Classique is an oriental floral for women, composed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud for Jean Paul Gaultier in 1993. Rose and star anise open it, sweetened by pear and mandarin, before a heavy white floral heart of tuberose and ylang-ylang warmed with ginger and lifted by iris. Vanilla, amber and cinnamon finish it, powdery and soft against sandalwood. It launched under the name JPGaultier Eau de Parfum and was renamed later. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it is best suited to autumn and winter evenings.
