Rumeur

Rumeur is a floral woody musk for women, composed by Francis Kurkdjian for Lanvin in 2006. Magnolia opens it alone, bright and faintly lemony, and the heart is a bank of white flowers, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and orange blossom, with rose and a little plum giving them body. The base is deliberately plain so the flowers stay in focus: clean patchouli and musk with amber underneath. White flowers are the whole point and it does not try to be more. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits spring and autumn daytime.
