Viride

Viride is an aromatic fragrance for women and men, composed by Alessandro Gualtieri for Orto Parisi in 2014. Wormwood and artemisia open it bitter and medicinal, with lavender the only softening influence, and a single note of jasmine in the middle does little to make it friendlier. The base is where it becomes interesting: fir, juniper and cedar for a cold coniferous dryness, with tobacco and musk adding warmth underneath. Green in the harsh sense of the word. It lasts a long time and projects moderately, and it suits spring and autumn daytime.
