Prada La Femme

Prada La Femme is an oriental floral for women, composed by Daniela Andrier for Prada in 2016 and launched alongside a masculine counterpart, L'Homme Prada. Frangipani is the centre, tropical and creamy, with tuberose and ylang-ylang making it heavier and iris, the house signature, cooling it from underneath. Carrot seed and magnolia give the opening an odd earthy greenness. What sets it apart is the base: beeswax, honeyed and slightly dirty, with vanilla and vetiver. Not a pretty floral. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring, summer and autumn daylight.
