It opens cool and mineral, salt and violet leaf giving it a damp-stone, faintly metallic character rather than a citrus one, then ginger and sage warm the middle just enough to stop it feeling austere. Vetiver and dry woods carry the rest, close to the skin. Clean and grey, and nearer to air after rain than to anything sweet. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it works day or night through spring, summer and autumn.
